The first match will be on Sunday  the 13th August with sighters at 10.30.

For newer members, if you are not able to shoot 12 dozen arrows or reach the official distance, other rounds will available so that everyone can come and join in. Please email to find out what rounds and distances you could shoot.

President’s Medal Matches 2023.

The President’s Medal matches were an annual event on the Bowmen of Rutland calendar until 2020 when the pandemic struck.
Two matches make up the Presidents Medal matches, pre-COVID these were WA 1440 round and Metric round for juniors and newer members and a York or Hereford round with Bristol rounds for juniors.

As the club comes back from the pandemic and to take into account the changes in the club membership as a result of this, we are changing the format for this years President Medal Matches so that they are a gentler introduction to the President Medal Matches to encourage members who have joined us in the last three years.

For this year only, the second match will be a 6 dozen round rather than the normal 12 dozen York Hereford round.
