As part of Archery GB Start Archery Week the Bowmen of Rutland will be holding an Open Day on Saturday 17th May at our Greetham Valley Golf Club ground from 10.30 to 14.00. There is no need to book.
The Bowmen of Rutland Archery Club is inviting adults and children alike to take part in Start Archery Week. It is open to all ages, for just £4.00 (cash only please) come along and have a go at this Olympic sport.
Participants will not only be able to have a go at the sport and meet friendly members of the club, they will also be able to spend time with the coaches who will guide them through the basics ensuring a safe and enjoyable introduction to the sport. In addition, visitors will be able to sign up for a beginner’s course to kickstart their archery journey.
The Bowmen of Rutland has been running for forty-seven years and has members of all abilities, who take part in archery each week. They are based at Greetham Valley Golf Club and at Casterton College Rutland during the winter. To find out more about their Start Archery Week contact info@b-o-r.org.
